How to Select Your Size

Chic Papoose slings are designed to fit the person wearing them.

Once you have selected the correct size, you may use your sling with a child up to 35 pounds, this will most likely carry you through from birth to age three. Many of our customers have used them with several of their children over many years, so be sure to choose the correct size!

SAFETY STATEMENT:
Use with great care. Ultimate responsibility for the safety of the child is held by the person using the sling. The child could fall out. Always keep a hand on the baby and keep fabric from covering his/her face. And make sure that newborns are resting with their heads back and that their chins are not resting on their chest.

Sizing Tips:
Two important factors influence the fit of your sling;
Height and torso length
Be sure the sling hits your hip, not your ribs,if you are long waisted you may need to go a size up, or down if you are very short waisted.
How broad/narrow your shoulders are; if they are very broad, you may need to go a size up, vice versa for narrow shoulders.

Because our slings are designed to fit the wearer it is usually not possible to share a sling between two people, unless you are the same size.

Choose Your Size

PETITE- Fits women 5'3" and under who wear misses size 4 and smaller.

REGULAR- Fits women who wear misses sizes 6 through 14, and men 5' 10" and under with smaller builds.

PLUS- Fits women who wear sizes 16 and above and most men 5' 11" and taller.

**Our sizes work for the majority of our customers,however, every so often someone finds they do not fit any of our sizes. If this is the case, and you purchased a sling at a store, please speak to your retailer about how to get a custom size. Smalls and larges are available for those that fit in between our standard sizes just drop us a line with the following information and we'll help you out: dress/clothing size, height, and bra size.
