眾所周知，托福的獨(dú)立口語任務(wù)分為四類：人物類、地點(diǎn)類、物品類和事件類，如果考生們想要在獨(dú)立任務(wù)這一項(xiàng)取得不錯(cuò)的成績(jī)，就需要對(duì)每一類的話題進(jìn)行練習(xí)和總結(jié)，歸納出規(guī)律，以應(yīng)對(duì)各種題目。 

    在獨(dú)立任務(wù)人物類話題當(dāng)中，我們也可以根據(jù)描述人物的類型進(jìn)行大致的分類，每類人物都具備不同的character, 所以我們的描述方式和答題思路也會(huì)不同。 

    A.Family

在托福口語人物類話題當(dāng)中，經(jīng)常會(huì)出現(xiàn)這樣的題目： 

In your opinion, what are some of the qualities of a good parent? Use reasons and specific examples to explain why these characteristics are important. 

題目要求描述一個(gè)好家長(zhǎng)應(yīng)該具備的品質(zhì)，通過brainstorming, 我們可以想到以下形容詞： 

amiable和藹可親的，well-educated受過良好教育的， considerate體貼的,reasonable講道理的, selfless無私的, diligent勤勞的, patient耐心的等等。

    通過以上題目，我們可以大致把名人分為這幾類：歌手、演員、運(yùn)動(dòng)員、商人、歷史人物、文學(xué)人物等。不同的名人具備不同的品質(zhì)，同學(xué)們?cè)跍?zhǔn)備的過程當(dāng)中，要準(zhǔn)備不同的詞匯和事例。當(dāng)然，如果題目沒有加以區(qū)分，只是簡(jiǎn)單地讓描述一個(gè)名人的話，那就根據(jù)自己準(zhǔn)備的名人類型，自己選擇一個(gè)就可以了。 

    B Idol偶像

    “Describe your favorite singer and explain why you like him/her.”這個(gè)題目怎么回答。 

提到歌手，很多同學(xué)想找一個(gè)國外的、國際化的明星來描述，但是對(duì)國外明星有細(xì)致了解的同學(xué)不是很多，所以容易在回答的時(shí)候只提到一些表面淺顯的內(nèi)容，沒有足夠的細(xì)節(jié)和例子補(bǔ)充。所以，如果題目沒有要求描述那個(gè)國家的明星的話，盡可以說自己比較熟悉的國內(nèi)歌手。所以這個(gè)題目，我們盡可以描述王菲： 

    In terms of the singers I like, I think Wangfei is among one of my favorite ones. I like her for several reasons. First of all, she is very talented. She has the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard. When hearing her voice, I feel extremely calm and relaxed. Moreover, she is a brave girl when pursuing her dream. When she first started singing, she was not very popular. So she went to the US and learned a special way of singing and soon earned her fame in Asia. More importantly, her songs are always very inspiring and encouraging. Whenever I have difficulties, I can always find comfort and courage in her songs. 

    說到歌手，一定要提一下歌手的聲音或者作品的特色。其他方面，可以說歌手的成長(zhǎng)歷程、趣事，或者歌手身上發(fā)光的品質(zhì)和值得別人學(xué)習(xí)的地方。同樣，說到演員、運(yùn)動(dòng)員，都可以用同樣的模式，先說這個(gè)名人的職業(yè)特點(diǎn)，再添加一些非職業(yè)的特色和故事。 

    而考到歷史人物，我們的思考方式就需要轉(zhuǎn)變一下，描述這個(gè)人的身份，然后分條闡釋他的功績(jī)或成就，以及對(duì)自己的影響。例如“Describe a celebrity/a famous person in history you want to see most.”我們可以這樣回答： 

I want to see Confucius the most. He is the most famous thinker and educator in Ancient China. I admire him first because he advocated benevolence. According to Confucius, benevolence means courtesy, loyalty and unselfishness. He always told his students the importance to love other people, to treat other people like brothers and sisters. Secondly, he believed that people with lofty ideal will never give up righteousness to seek survive, but may sacrifice their lives for righteousness. Finally, Confucius believed in the dignity of people. He is against the ancient custom of burying ceramic tomb figures with dead, because he thinks it was disrespect to humans. In China, Confucius is still influencing how we think today. 

    C Leader 領(lǐng)袖

    關(guān)于領(lǐng)袖的描述題，會(huì)問一個(gè)好的leader應(yīng)該具備的品質(zhì)，相反，有的作文會(huì)問一個(gè)普通的team member應(yīng)該具有的品質(zhì)。當(dāng)然，在Task2中，還會(huì)讓你選擇你愿意當(dāng)leader還是supporting member。以下是一些例子：In your opinion, what are some important characteristics of a good leader? Use reasons and specific examples to explain why these qualities are important.Some people prefer to be a leader in a group project while others prefer to be a supporting member in a group project. Which do you prefer and why? Use examples and details in your explanation.In your opinion, what are some important qualities of a good team member? Use reasons and specific examples to explain why this characteristic is important. 

    回答這類題目，只需要弄清楚“領(lǐng)導(dǎo)”和“非領(lǐng)導(dǎo)”各自的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)就好了。首先我們需要brainstorm一下領(lǐng)導(dǎo)應(yīng)該具備的品質(zhì)：ambitious，有雄心壯志的 dutiful盡職的， analytical善于分析的，competent能勝任的，conscientious認(rèn)真的自覺的， creative 富有創(chuàng)造力的。
